What is Thermographic Diagnostic Imaging

Did you know that there’s a state-of-the-art FDA approved medical diagnostic tool available that doesn’t give off radiation?

Thermographic diagnostic imaging has been available for more than 50 years.

What is Thermographic Diagnostic Imaging -Although controversial in its early days, with increased technological advances in thermal imaging cameras and software, it is superior in detecting the early stages of some diseases. The earlier the detection, the chances are for the best outcome!

What is Thermographic Diagnostic Imaging?

Medical thermography is a form of technology that uses infrared imaging of the body’s physiological responses. A thermal imaging camera transmits data from the body’s skin temperature to a computer where the patterns convert to images. By detecting thermal asymmetry or by noting alterations of vascular patterns, a physician has more information to assess breast, neurological, and other conditions.

How it works

As an example, Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI) is a type of thermography that detects breast cancer. DITI shows temperature differences on the surface of the breast to diagnose breast cancer. How the test works is that as cancer cells multiply, they need more oxygen-rich blood to grow. As blood flow to the tumor increases around it, the temperature rises. Current data supports thermal imaging for medical conditions, including diseases of the breast, thyroid dysfunction, and peripheral neuropathies, among others. See a complete list here.

Why choose Thermographic Imaging?

  • No radiation
  • Non-invasive
  • Painless
  • No risks
  • No side effects

TDI / Health Through Awareness

Thermographic Diagnostic Imaging (TDI) was founded by Dr. Philip Getson, D.O., in 1982. He interprets all of the thermographic images and has reviewed more than 10,000 thermographic studies of the breast, thyroid, and neuromuscular system. Dr. Getson is certified by four thermographic boards and is considered an expert in the field. He has lectured nationally and internationally on the subject.

The TDI / Health Through Awareness Mission is “to empower and educate individuals to become proactive in their lifestyle choices to maximize their well-being and wake them up to the infinite possibilities that life holds.”
