Breast Thermography and Follow-Up Thermal Comparisons

How Follow-Up Thermal Comparisons Are Used

Every woman’s breasts have a thermal signature – a pattern of surface warmth and vascular activity that tends to be stable over time. Breast thermography captures that signature with an infrared camera, without compression, contact, or radiation, and builds a baseline that future studies can be measured against, year over year.

That is the real promise of the exam – not a substitute for anything, but a layer of physiological information that provider-recommended breast imaging and ultrasound are not designed to capture. Structural tests show what breast tissue looks like; a thermogram documents how it runs. At TDI, breast thermography is always an adjunct to provider-recommended breast imaging and clinical breast care, and your report – reviewed by a Board-Certified Clinical Thermologist – is written to be shared with your healthcare provider.

The appointment is comfortable by design: certified female technicians, a private temperature-controlled room, multiple standardized views, and nothing that touches or presses on you. Breast density, implants, and surgical scars do not interfere with infrared imaging.

TDI has provided breast thermography in Marlton, NJ and across our satellite network since 1982. Call 856-596-5834 or book online to schedule your baseline.
