Modern society has impacted what should be our deep connection with the natural order and balance of the universe. Our ancestors were familiar with the ebb and flow of nature and lived in harmony with those rhythms. Today, the majority of people in the Western World spend about 80% of their time indoors, some deprived of sunlight, surrounded by manmade materials, electronics, chemicals, and fields of energy that are not natural for the body. That is why it is so important to create an environment that supports wellness, balance, and happiness.
Energies that surround you in your home and work environment can thwart or nurture you—body, mind, and spirit. Your living environment plays a larger role in supporting or detracting from your health than you may realize. Lack of good health and sleep takes a big toll on your life. It has a ripple effect, impacting many areas of your life including your finances, relationships, social life, and happiness.
Feng Shui encompasses the study of the inner and the outer worlds; the visual environment created by architectural features and decor as well as unseen subtle energies and their flow. Feng Shui offers us a profound tool to shift the energy in our environment to improve the positive aspects of healthy qi. When properly aligned, the inner and outer aspects come together to boost health, relationships, and well-being and can ignite a whole new enthusiasm for your life.
You will learn practical tips and simple techniques that will help you enhance your home to boost your Health and Well-Being with Feng Shui.
About the Presenter:
Improving and beautifying spaces has always been one of Kristin’s joys in life. She was blessed to have this passion evolve into a lifetime career. For over 27 years she has been serving clients in their homes and offices, creating beautiful spaces that uplift, nurture, and reflect their inner beauty. Her devotion to creating harmony, beauty, and order through consciously designing with Feng Shui is what makes her work unique, a true creative art and ever-evolving.
Kristin graduated from University of Delaware in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and started her business in 1990. Many years later, she experienced several health issues that opened her mind and heart to a new inner world of spiritual experiences and to the wisdom of Feng Shui. Those health challenges forced her to look deeper in her life and to search for answers within. She was directed onto a path to remember her wholeness. This time of personal growth allowed her to become more self-aware and it also opened her “mind, body, and spirit” to many healing modalities that she didn’t know existed before her journey began. She recognized that external realities are reflections of internal ones; and that tending to both inner and outer is critical to making any permanent changes for the better. Kristin’s study of Feng Shui fascinated her as an interior designer because she came to realize that living and working environments play a much larger role on people’s health, relationships, and prosperity. She realized that her beautifully decorated home reflected her as the Interior Designer, not the Kristin from her soul level, and that her home was not supportive for health and well-being for herself and her family. When she added Feng Shui adjustments to her home, incorporating elements from nature, she immediately felt a lightening, a connection to the universal order that surrounds us. Items placed in her home began to support her and her family, and she developed a new awareness as she designed consciously, with intention.
Kristin helps her clients create what they truly desire through the law of attraction, and adjust their surroundings to support the aspects of their lives that need improvement, whether they are looking to improve their health, increase their financial flow or improve their relationships. She is committed to educating and enriching people’s lives by bringing Feng Shui and beautiful design into their environments, so that they can live in a high vibration and enjoy the best quality life for themselves, their families and all others whose lives they touch.
Kristin enjoys teaching Feng Shui workshops, writing blogs about Design and The Feng Shui Lifestyle, and writing articles in Enhance Magazine. She studied interior design, architecture, and Feng Shui abroad in France, Italy, and Ireland. In addition to her degree in Interior Design, she has studied with renown Feng Shui masters such as Marie Diamond of Diamond Feng Shui, Amanda Collins of the International Feng Shui School, James Jay of Feng Shui Designs and Annette Rugulo of Diamond Dowsing. She has received certifications in Modern Day Shamanism, Inner Diamond, Spring Forest Qi-Gong, Reiki, Psych-K, Healing Touch, and New Thought.
On a personal note, she loves to express herself through dance, yoga, fitness, and healthy eating. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is most comfortable barefoot in nature, gardening with her hands in the earth, playing with her dogs, traveling to new adventures, avidly learning new things and seeking the truth.
