Just as important as treating and curing breast cancer is breast cancer prevention. With the growing accessibility of information on breast health, breast cancer prevention and breast screening methods women are beginning to educate themselves on the many ways to improve their lifestyles and their overall health. This is why the health care practitioners at Thermographic Diagnostic Imaging are dedicated to providing quality and reliable information to individuals through our monthly Breast Health Awareness meetings. It is our goal to educate women on methods of breast cancer prevention, breast health and overall lifestyle improvements for a healthier life.
Normally held at the William G. Rohrer Center for Healthfitness in Voorhees, New Jersey, Thermographic Diagnostic Imaging’s Breast Health Awareness Meetings have covered a wide variety of topics and call on the expertise of industry leaders to educate our attendees. Guest speakers have included Ann McCloud Sneath who discussed bioidentical hormones and breast health, Julie Fischer – CMT & RTT who discussed yoga and stress reduction in its relation to illness prevention and Lois Gervasi who shared her own personal struggle with breast cancer and her triumph over the disease.
The list of topics and speakers goes on and on providing our attendees with a supportive and engaging group environment in which to learn, discuss and share. Attendees can even benefit from our open forum meetings and share their own personal stories or just sit back and listen to others.
