Menopause and Weight Gain

I find some women as they go through menopause will start to put on weight. They try to handle this weight gain by themselves.  This is the time you really need to seek out a professional health counselor to put you on the right path.  When I counsel people they always say “I eat very healthy.”   When I ask what they are eating it is usually a highly processed food carbohydrate diet starting with cereal and protein only at dinner.  They have completely forgotten about healthy fats.
