Posture Therapy is a non-medical modality which utilizes a series of gentle, individualized exercises and stretches to target the underlying, root cause of pain. Many of our most common ailments are derived from postural misalignments that impede the body’s ability to sustain health and wellbeing such as:

The pain is only a symptom of the problem. The problem may be musculoskeletal misalignment, or more simply, muscular imbalance. Muscles tell the bones what to do. When muscles become misaligned through lack of use or repetitive use our bodies become dysfunctional. We begin to lose range of motion, experience pain, and become prone to injury. But there is hope. About the Presenter:
After much research and years of suffering from chronic pain, the result of an auto accident which left her with herniated and bulging discs in her cervical spine, Deb found Egoscue, a world leader in non-medical pain relief. Like many who suffer from chronic pain, she saw numerous doctors and tried a variety of methods to reduce her pain including physical therapy, chiropractic, massage, nerve blocks, epidural, electrical stimulation, acupuncture, therapeutic yoga, pain medication, nutrition, and so on. While many of these methods brought varying levels of temporary relief, none of them seemed to get to the root of what was causing her pain and limiting her ability to do many of the daily activities so many of us take for granted.
Her posture therapy results were so profound that she left her career as a loan officer to become a Postural Alignment Specialist. She completed her initial Postural Alignment Specialist certification in 2013, at which time she began assisting others in their journey to eliminate chronic pain. In 2014, she obtained her Postural Alignment Specialist II certification. Deb’s passion is to spread the word that there is hope for those who suffer from chronic and recurrent pain and to guide and empower others to transform their posture, eliminate pain, and change their lives. Deb facilitates weekly Postural Alignment classes and also does one on one sessions.
